About Us

Thank you for visiting 2PetSit.com. We are the owners, John & Roberta Chapman. In August of 1998 I (Roberta) started my own business Comfy Creatures Dog Walking & Pet Sitting serving Canton, Plymouth, Northville, Westland, Livonia, and Farmington Hills - Michigan. I started pet sitting as a side job while working as a local Veterinary Technician. I found that many pets that came to the clinic for boarding would get very stressed, and that the vet clinics boarding facilities were limited on space. Customers of the clinic started asking me to come and care for their pets in their own home. This was a win-win situation for all involved. The pets never got stressed out, the clients were happy because their pets were happy, and I was my own boss. So, I left my job as a Veterinary Technician and started Comfy Creatures. Soon I was working full time as a professional pet sitter and dog walker. To help me expand my business my husband and best friend, John, joined the business. John's background is in small business and web design. He also shares my passion for animals.

As the years have gone by we have grown by leaps and bounds. Besides running Comfy Creatures, which has a full time staff of 8, we also run The Michigan Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers Association, and First Aid 4 Paws (we teach Pet First Aid Classes). This is definitely our dream job and we really love what we do and now we are using our experience to help others live their dream! We believe the enthusiasm we have for our career is reflected in every aspect of our lives. We really enjoy helping other pet sitting businesses.
